Conversations

Conversation has always been one of the most natural ways to explore ideas.
Many of the questions that shape my work today have first emerged through informal discussion, whether in clinical settings, classrooms, or around a table with colleagues and friends.

This page gathers some of those conversations, past and future.

Pub Natter

Pub Natter was a local podcast recorded in traditional English pubs across Rutland. Every fortnight we visited a different pub, met the landlord, and spoke with people from the surrounding community about their work, interests, and experiences.

The conversations ranged widely, from wildlife conservation and local history to brewing, farming, writing, and public life. Sometimes serious, sometimes light-hearted, but always grounded in the character of the places and people we met.

Recording these conversations reinforced something important:
that thoughtful discussion often happens best in relaxed, human settings rather than formal ones.

What's next

More recently, my work has increasingly focused on the intersection of health, education, and the wider systems that shape behaviour and professional practice.

Future conversations will explore these themes through discussions with clinicians, educators, researchers, and others whose work touches on how health unfolds within real-world environments.

The aim will remain the same:
curious, open conversations that allow ideas to develop naturally.
